Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Integration
"We are so much more than the identities and roles we have embodied and there is nothing more special than sharing in a meaningful moment with people as they realize their capacity for healing, change, growth, and potential."

Jessica Brazil, LCSW, is a psychospiritual therapist, licensed minister, and clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience practicing at the intersection of evidence-based clinical care and spiritual depth. For nearly 20 years she has practiced on Maui, founding Mindful Living Group out of a deep passion for group work and community healing. Her advanced training includes Hypnosis, Brainspotting I & II, Kundalini Yoga, Mindfulness CBT, TF-CBT, Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Reiki (Level I, II, & III), and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. She values the role of breathwork and non-ordinary consciousness experiences, offering harm reduction, integration support, and meaning-making for those exploring these dimensions of healing.

Jessica's trauma-informed, queer and gender-affirming approach to care is rooted in empowerment, choice, and nervous system regulation — and is deepened by her own lived experience of trauma, ancestral healing, inherited historical trauma, decolonization, and the ongoing work of Indigenous lineage repair. She has sat with wisdom carriers from a variety of traditions and shares only what has become truly embodied, honoring the threads of yogic, ancestral, Indigenous, and wisdom traditions that ultimately draw humanity more fully into love, compassion, embodiment, and lived truth

As a group and retreat facilitator, leadership and business coach, clinical supervisor, and host of the Healer's Voices Podcast, Jessica holds space for the full spectrum of human experience — the clinical and the mystical, the personal and the collective. Her mindfulness practice includes surfing, yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and time in nature. She is a life long learner and enjoys traveling, writing, poetry, and music.

The Mindful Living Group is an assemblage of mental health practitioners of varying disciplines. We all have this in common -- a desire to share in the human experience. What we do is subtle and complex. How we do it is through a coordinated, and focused practice as a team of professionals working together. We are here for you.

Dr. Nill has been nothing short of a lifesaver! She listens, she observes and makes suggestions that she feels will benefit the needs of her patients. Not to mention her staff who are very patient and supportive of your quality of care. I went from self destruction to a path of peace and self love thanks to the help of Dr. Nill and her staff. Not only has she saved my life, but also my marriage. She has been a blessing to me! Thank you Dr. Nill!

Mindful Living Group is an incredible team of caring, talented, and service-oriented behavioral health professionals with a high level of discretion and integrity. The group's providers and staff alike are compassionate, skilled, ethical, and responsive.

Moreover, the practice has served as a pillar of leadership and generosity in the community and a bridge between the psychospiritual and material worlds for almost a decade, with unique offerings ranging from Lakota and Hawaiian cultural speakers to dream workshops, leadership and meditation groups, as well as hosting space for groundbreaking training in new treatments and beyond.

Through this sacred journey I was able to make profound shifts - and know I will continue to integrate what I have learned for years to come. So blessed for Dr. Kahu Kahealani, her compassion, wisdom and dedication. For holding us accountable to do "the work" so that we can all remember and come home to the light we all hold.
