Jessica Brazil, LCSW
Founder, Psychotherapist & Yoga Instructor
Jessica Brazil, LCSW, RYT specializes in integrative mental health and creative entrepreneurship. She has 10 years of operating a business and over 20 years of social work experience working directly with clients and systems in a variety of settings. She completed her Bachelors in Social Work in 2003, Masters in social work in 2006, Kundalini Yoga Certification in 2016, and certifications in various clinical treatments including Brainspotting, Hypnosis, TF-CBT, MCBT, etc. She has experience with University level teaching and research as well as supervising students and pre-licensed therapists towards licensure.
In 2007 she began working in mental health settings, began her practice in 2012, and in 2016 her private practice became a group practice which is now a multi-speciality group of over 25 professionals specializing in integrative/holistic mental health. Jessica’s passion for multiculturalism and diversity inclusion has made its way to the practice through 8 language fluencies, strong feminine leadership, and team members from many parts of the world! Mindful Living Group encompasses not just traditional and integrative therapies but also Hawaiian cultural learning opportunities, sound healing instruments, meditation & yoga classes, and support groups focused on self care, youth, and addiction/codependency recovery.
Jessica views the healing and evolutionary journey as having many paths that can lead to wellness. With a special connection to our Hawaiian host culture and a deep inspiration that each life that she touches directly and indirectly will ultimately realize wellness and embody the spirit of aloha. At this chapter, Jessica is excited to support heart-centered new business owners through 1:1 and group coaching after learning over 50% of business owners fail in the first year and only about 5% make it to staying in business after 10 years! Jessica attributes much of this success to her disciplined mindfulness practices, 40-100 day challenges to shift habits and beliefs, and use of a courageous mindset to tame fear. Her mindfulness practice today includes surfing, yoga, music, breathwork, mushroom coffee mornings with a journal, spending time with her husband, taking a deep dive into nature, and cozy time with her 15 year old therapy dog.
Living our best life is a dance between facing our biggest fears and embracing our greatest desires.
