Why Telemedicine?

Psychotherapy & Counseling

Counseling and Psychotherapy can be effective in assisting those experiencing difficulty with relationships, family dynamics, mental health illnesses, disordered eating, and life transitions. This therapeutic avenue is most beneficial when clients, couples, families, or groups are ready to work through the challenging feelings surrounding their concerns. Present-moment awareness practices, psycho-education, evidence-based therapies, and other clinical techniques are used in sessions to help find unique solutions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

● Are you struggling with a traumatic life event that has occurred recently or remains unresolved in the past?● Are you experiencing difficulty with life purpose or meaning?● Are you experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, or other mental health challenges?● Are you having communication problems with others or having difficulty forming meaningful relationships?● Are you experiencing a major life challenge or transition?

You are not alone and have so much to access from within that can guide you on your journey. Therapy is a safe, confidential place to process these challenges, and we have a team available and ready to help. We accept many insurance plans as well as offer sliding scale/hardship rates for cash-paying clients on a case-by-case basis.

What is Telehealth?

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a powerful way of navigating challenging experiences in a more integrated, graceful, and supportive way. Some life experiences or mental health issues can be altering, painful, distressing, and sometimes even life-threatening. Individual therapy can be a powerful way of accessing compassion, helpful tools, recovery, and healing with the support of a skilled, compassionate therapist who truly desires to help in an effective way. There are many types of therapy that work for different needs and symptoms. We have a diverse team ready to assist.

Couples Counseling

The union of two people brings joy, exhilaration, and excitement of a new life together. It can also awaken sleeping parts of us that, with some perspective, could result in great personal growth. Sometimes couples seek counseling because they are having problems within the relationship, such as intimacy issues, arguments, infidelity, divorce, parenting struggles, or financial burdens. Or maybe the couple just wants to connect more deeply and have premarital counseling or post-honeymoon-period counseling. Couples counseling involves treating the relationship as the client instead of the individuals that make up the couple.

Family Therapy

Sometimes the whole family is in need of support. When a family experiences major life transitions, such as a family member’s death, a parent’s divorce, or a parent’s re-marriage, family therapy can help. Another reason to schedule a session for the whole family is when there has been some kind of trauma (i.e., abuse, rape, near-death experience, etc.). Family therapy can also help when there is a high level of stress or a behavioral and/or mental health concern with a child or parent.

Group Therapy

A great adjunct to individual therapy is group therapy. Whether the group members all suffer from depression, addiction, anxiety, or any number of other concerns, coming together to process feelings is one of the most powerful things to do. Typically group sessions will meet once a week for 1.5 hours and will be facilitated by one or two of our experienced therapists.
