Our soul is constantly searching for something that can satisfy it, so it always needs to create something new. Woodpan was born with this particular purpose: reach a new frequency… Nature’s frequency, our heart’s frequency. We are now selling handpans exclusively in Hawaii. Each handpan sound instrument is custom made in Italy!

Standard Series

The metal sheet is thinner than the Woodpan. Balanced timbre, exceptional tuning stability, sensitivity and strength note, rust resistance.

If you are a beginner, this choice is the BEST quality for the BEST price!

Woodpan Series

For the first time we have specially treated our metal, in order to allow it to use the temperature range to give more stability and power to the sound. We have added also the warmth and the softness that only 50-year-aged wood can give, thanks to the help of the best luthiers in Europe. A special wax made of Mexican insect is being applied on the wood.
This was also done in the creation process of musical instruments by artisans in the Middle Ages!

● 9 notes (Central Ding + 8 notes): $3,200

Our Handpan is backed by a 2-year warranty that covers damage within reason and “usual” re-tuned. If handled properly, it should not need repairs.

Included with every handpan

● Professional Bag/Backpacker.● Professional Handpan cream.● 2-year warranty.● Hardcase bags sold separately and are highly advised to protect the handpan from damage.

You may find “scratches” on the surface that were formed by the hammers used in production. Each instrument is handcrafted and is hit with thousands of hammer strikes. Every shell varies and each one will have its own unique markings. A scratch will not affect the sound of the instrument.

Temperature & Storage

Do not store your handpan for prolonged periods in a hot/humid place or leave it in a vehicle. Short exposure to cold and hot temperatures will not have an effect on the instrument. The best place to store your handpan is in its bag, and ensure that it remains dry. However, it is better not to leave the instrument closed too long and let it “breathe.”

Cleaning & Rust Prevention

Your location will impact how you need to use the sew cream on your handpan. If you live in a humid climate, you will have to use the cream more frequently than someone who lives in a more dry climate. Humidity and salty air, skin oils, and the acidity of sweat can cause rust on the surface. Sew professional cream was created for our unique metal. Sew Handpan uses heat-treated steel to help prevent rust. Put about ten drops of the cream on the handpan and clean the surface with a dry cloth or multipurpose paper. If you play your handpan often, clean it 1-2 times a month.
