INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Meera is passionate about assisting people in clearing challenges and obstacles in order to allow growth and transformation to take place on physical, emotional, cognitive, relational, energetic and spiritual levels.
She provides a safe space with compassionate presence where you can be authentically you, discover what is keeping you from moving forward and how to create health, balance and peace.

She knows from her own life challenges and illnesses how obstacles and losses in our lives, can bring growth and transformation when we get support. After surviving two cancers she wrote a book “The Little Book of Hope” to spread seeds of Hope.

Meera is an integrative psychotherapist working with the body, mind, and spirit. She received her Master’s degree in Somatic Psychology from Naropa University where contemplative practices were an important part of the training. Her mentor there was Christine Caldwell, founder of The Moving Cycle, Body-centered psychotherapy modality. She also trained with Anna Halpin the founder of Life/Art Process, which is an expressive arts healing modality. She has completed trainings in EMDR, DBT, and Grief Counseling.

Meera has over 25 years of experience working with people from different backgrounds, ages, orientations and with a wide array of issues including anxiety, depression, addictions, relational problems, stress, grief and loss, issues with self-esteem, purpose and health.

Meera has a daily meditation practice that helps her to maintain balance and perspective. Practicing mindfulness brings depth and joy into each precious moment. She finds time to receive nurturance from nature, either swimming in the ocean or hiking in the woods. She has traveled and lived in different countries and has been exposed to multicultural beliefs and variety of spiritual orientations. Her long love affair with hula practice and studies in Hawaiian language brings her close to the culture she loves and respects. Meera is looking forward to meeting you and embarking to a healing journey with you.
