Cailin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from University of Hawaii at Manoa and has been working with children and families for over twelve years. She has a diverse clinical background with experience in team leadership, supervision, case coordination as well as child, individual, and family therapy. Cailin specializes in early childhood development, uniting families during difficult times and is skilled in addressing traumas, behavioral and emotional difficulties in children, as well as grief. She has significant experience in crisis based interventions and home based therapy, as well as supervision of clinicians.
Cailin utilizes a combination of modalities to ensure a client centered approach with the goal being to assist individuals in making sustainable changes in their lives. Her training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Person Centered Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy allow her to personalize treatment planning to ensure client’s individual goals are met. Utilizing mindfulness, client empowerment and education, empathy and reflective listening, Cailin’s clients have had great successes in personal and family growth.
With diverse experience in the field, Cailin is knowledgeable of local resources, both public and private, and can assist clients in developing a strong support system. She aims to work with clients and empower them to heal and move toward being their greatest self.
